Joining Palm Beach County’s Fight Against Opioids
Despite the difficulties in determining individual liability, our Florida opioid lawyers are working to take action alongside Palm Beach County. We are currently representing the county in legal action against some of the biggest pharmaceutical companies who play a large role in the opioid epidemic.
These companies are strictly looking out for their own profit and they continue to push out prescription medication that is not only addictive, but also harmful. They should be held accountable for their part in contributing to this nationwide epidemic.
Most individuals are looking for legal action that can help them recover damages, but this case is also about seeking justice. It’s about putting an end to big pharmaceutical companies’ production of seriously dangerous drugs that accounts for thousands of deaths each year.
At The Ferraro Law Firm, we take this epidemic very seriously. Currently, our lawsuit with Palm Beach County targets 35 big pharmaceutical companies, distributors and key opinion leaders. We want change. We want improvement for our communities in South Florida and the well-being of all those dealing with this serious problem.
The goal: seek compensation we can use to help give back to recovery programs, treatment centers, and more.
