Robert R. Goette is a seasoned Florida litigation attorney at Ferraro Law. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Goette represented hundreds of clients in a broad range of cases involving insurance disputes, business disputes, personal injury disputes, defamation disputes, trust disputes, bankruptcy, family law, immigration, and guardianship issues.
Mr. Goette earned his J.D. from Florida International University College of Law in 2017, where he graduated magna cum laude. During law school, Mr. Goette clerked for a prominent Coral Gables-based law firm, where he became an associate attorney upon receiving his admission to the Florida Bar. In 2020, Mr. Goette began his career as a solo practitioner, with an office located in Coral Gables. During this time, Mr. Goette regularly co-counseled cases alongside a board-certified civil trial attorney as well as various South Florida-based law firms.
Mr. Goette is a zealous consumer advocate, having recovered millions of dollars for his clients. He has taken and defended hundreds of depositions, including fact witnesses, expert witnesses, and corporate representatives. In addition, Mr. Goette has routinely prevailed in defeating dozens of dispositive motions for summary judgment and has secured favorable rulings on complex Daubert issues.
Mr. Goette is equally committed to serving his community through pro bono, having provided substantial legal services to the indigent through Dade Legal Aid’s Put Something Back Program. Mr. Goette has been recognized by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida for his extensive pro bono services in the community. In 2026, Mr. Goette brought his experience to Ferraro Law where he is currently involved in the firm’s high-stakes Insulin Pricing Multidistrict Litigation.

- In 2015 and 2016, Mr. Goette received the prestigious CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for earning the highest grades among his classmates in Property Law, Intellectual Property Law, and Florida Constitutional Law.

- Mr. Goette has represented high-profile clients, including a Latin grammy award winning musician in a highly publicized defamation dispute involving politically sensitive allegations. Mr. Goette’s efforts led to an amicable resolution in which the parties agreed to make equal donations to the ‘Unión Patriótica de Cuba’ (UNPACU) – one of the largest political dissident organizations in Cuba.
- Mr. Goette has successfully represented the business interests of a former NFL football player in a high-stakes breach of contract dispute against one of the largest publicly traded insurance companies in the world.
- In addition, Mr. Goette has successfully represented a well-known Miami-based attorney in a case involving civil theft and conspiracy, against well-known South Florida jewelers alleged to have been trafficking in stolen goods.
