Ferraro Law is proud to welcome Robert R. Goette to our litigation team. Mr. Goette brings nearly a decade of legal experience representing clients in a broad range of complex disputes, with substantial experience handling depositions, dispositive motions, and other significant litigation matters.
Prior to joining Ferraro Law, Mr. Goette represented hundreds of clients in matters involving insurance disputes, business disputes, personal injury, defamation, trusts, bankruptcy, family law, immigration, and guardianship issues. Throughout his career, he has recovered millions of dollars for clients and developed substantial experience handling complex matters on behalf of individuals and businesses.
At Ferraro Law, Mr. Goette brings that background to the firm’s complex litigation practice and is currently involved in the firm’s high-stakes Insulin Pricing multidistrict litigation (MDL).
Building a Broad Foundation in Complex Litigation
Mr. Goette began his legal career while attending Florida International University College of Law, where he clerked for a prominent Coral Gables-based law firm. After earning his Juris Doctor and being admitted to The Florida Bar in 2017, he joined the firm as an associate attorney.
In 2020, Mr. Goette established his own practice in Coral Gables. As a solo practitioner, he regularly co-counseled cases with a board-certified civil trial attorney and other South Florida law firms while representing clients across a diverse range of disputes.
Throughout his career, Mr. Goette has taken and defended hundreds of depositions involving fact witnesses, expert witnesses, and corporate representatives. He has also successfully opposed numerous motions for summary judgment and secured favorable rulings involving complex Daubert issues.
This experience has given Mr. Goette a broad perspective on developing litigation strategy, examining complex evidence, working with expert witnesses, and preparing cases through multiple stages of the litigation process.
A Record of Advocacy for Clients
Before joining Ferraro Law, Mr. Goette recovered millions of dollars for clients in insurance, personal injury, and business disputes.
His experience includes representing clients in matters of breach of contract, defamation, civil theft, conspiracy, and other complex disputes. These matters have required careful investigation, strategic case development, and an ability to navigate complicated legal and factual issues on behalf of his clients.
Mr. Goette brings that same focus on preparation and advocacy to his work at Ferraro Law, where he contributes his litigation experience to sophisticated matters involving significant legal and financial issues.
Education and Commitment to the Community
Mr. Goette earned his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Florida International University College of Law in 2017. During law school, he earned Dean’s List recognition across multiple semesters and received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for achieving the highest grades in Property Law, Intellectual Property Law, and Florida Constitutional Law.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Political Science from Florida State University.
Beyond his work on behalf of clients, Mr. Goette has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to providing legal services to those in need. Through Dade Legal Aid’s Put Something Back program, he provided substantial pro bono legal services to members of the community.
His pro bono work earned him recognition from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida in 2020 and 2021. He was also named to Dade Legal Aid’s Pro Bono Honor Roll in 2020.
Mr. Goette is admitted to The Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Bringing His Litigation Experience to Ferraro Law
Mr. Goette joined Ferraro Law in 2026 as a Litigation Attorney, bringing his years of experience handling complex disputes to the firm’s high-stakes litigation practice.
He is currently involved in Ferraro Law’s Insulin Pricing multidistrict litigation, where he is building on his background in complex case development, depositions, evidentiary matters, and litigation strategy.
Mr. Goette joins a team with more than 40 years of experience representing individuals and families in complex litigation. Ferraro Law has secured billions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for clients in matters involving catastrophic injuries, product liability, toxic torts, and other complex claims.
His extensive litigation background, commitment to preparation, and record of advocacy for clients and the community make him a strong addition to Ferraro Law.
