Nikki Nicole Hurtado is a passionate and detail-oriented leader born and raised in Miami, FL. She is currently an Associate Attorney at The Ferraro Law Firm where she focuses on Catastrophic Personal Injury and Mass Torts litigation. As a King & Spalding Scholarship Recipient, she obtained her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Emory University School of Law with a Concentration in Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution. Ms. Hurtado was also a recipient of the Kessler-Eidson Trial Techniques Scholarship and the A. James Elliott Community Service Award for her commitment to community service.
At Emory, Ms. Hurtado served as a Director of the Emory Law Mock Trial Team and successfully competed in multiple national mock trial competitions. She was named “Best Advocate” at the 2023 Harvard Law Crimson Cup Mock Trial Competition, “National Champion” at the 2022 William W. Daniel Mock Trial Competition, and was a Semi-Finalist at, both, the 2024 TYLA National Trial Competition and the 2023 Summit Cup Mock Trial Tournament. Ms. Hurtado was subsequently selected as a National Member of The Order of Barristers for her accomplishments in trial advocacy whilst in law school.
Ms. Hurtado attended the University of Miami, as a President’s Scholarship Recipient and Foote Fellow, where she completed her undergraduate degree in just three years. Having graduated Magna Cum Laude with Bachelor of Science in Education in, both, Sport Administration and Human and Social Development with a minor in Spanish, Ms. Hurtado is committed to collaborating with others to build supportive and resourceful communities, in and out of the workplace. Ms. Hurtado is also a Notary Public in Florida.
As a proud graduate and 2018 Student Wall of Fame Inductee, Nikki is also an active member of the Gulliver Prep Alumni Council in Pinecrest, FL. Gulliver Prep awarded her the inaugural Young Alumni Award in 2024 for her significant contributions to Gulliver’s alumni program and the wider Miami community.
Other than working at Ferraro, Ms. Hurtado enjoys spending time with her family – especially her twin niece and nephew. She loves to dance, sing, and spread positivity wherever she goes. Ms. Hurtado is a native Spanish speaker and has limited working proficiency in French.
