Sean Burstyn of the Burstyn Law Firm is a litigator and former federal judicial law clerk in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He previously worked as an Associate at the international law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York. While at Skadden, Sean handled “bet the company” litigation and represented clients including The Republic of Argentina, J.P. Morgan, Avianca, and Capital One in complex commercial litigation, class action defense, and securities litigation.
In his twenties, Sean was an internationally licensed professional formula racecar driver, driver manager, and owner of a team that currently competes in the Indy Racing League and the historic Indianapolis 500 race.
While an undergraduate student, Sean interned in the Washington, D.C., offices of Senator Joseph I. Lieberman, Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, and Congressman Alcee L. Hastings.
Sean holds a bachelor’s degree with honors from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University and he holds a juris doctor degree from the University of Chicago Law School.
Sean is a member of the Florida Bar and the New York Bar. In an Of Counsel capacity, he works with The Ferraro Law Firm on the Multidistrict Litigation against Robinhood.
