Legal Operations Analyst

The Ferraro Law Firm is a rapidly expanding mid-sized plaintiff personal injury firm, actively seeking a resourceful and detail-oriented Legal Operations Analyst to support our high-volume Asbestos Claims Department. This role will serve as the operational “nerve center” for the department—tracking claim workflows, analyzing team performance, identifying inefficiencies, and helping optimize processes from intake through trust submission.

Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree in Business or similar from an accredited college or university or equivalency.
  • 2–5 years of experience in legal operations, project coordination, process improvement, or data analytics (law firm or healthcare setting preferred).
  • Experience with CRM or case management systems (Litify/Salesforce preferred).
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets required; experience with dashboard tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI a plus).
  • Process-oriented mindset with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with asbestos or mass tort litigation is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Workflow & Task Management

  • Monitor claim pipelines and ensure tasks are routed and completed efficiently across intake, affidavit, medical, and trust teams.
  • Act as the day-to-day point of coordination between team supervisors and support staff to reduce bottlenecks.
  • Provide real-time visibility to supervisors on overdue or stuck claims.


Process Optimization

  • Document current claim handling procedures; identify redundancies, delays, and manual pain points.
  • Assist in designing and rolling out new SOPs, checklists, and quality controls.
  • Coordinate with IT/CRM vendors to ensure systems (e.g., Litify) align with optimized workflows.


Reporting & Analytics

  • Track KPIs including claim cycle time, staff productivity, error/deficiency rates, and trust-specific outcomes.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly performance dashboards for leadership.
  • Analyze trends to forecast volume and recommend staffing or resource adjustments.


Ability to commute/Relocate:
Candidates should reliably commute or be willing to relocate. 

Work Location: This role is based in-office.
